April 2012
Doyle’s Fuel Service and Weaver Bros Inc

(907) 283-4289

In 1962 Jim Doyle, of Kenai, started his home heating business Doyle’s Fuel Service. Starting as a 1 man operation Jim grew the business by selling heating oil to customers in the Kenai, Soldotna, Nikiski and Sterling areas. Later on he expanded to gas station deliveries around the Kenai Peninsula, serving as one of the original dealers for Tesoro. In 1978 he expanded again purchasing the operating authority for Weaver Bros Inc, a long time trucking company. He immediately opened additional terminals in Anchorage and Fairbanks. Today Jim operates Doyle’s Fuel Service and Weaver Bros Inc with almost 150 employees. This year Jim will be celebrating 50 years in doing business as Doyle’s Fuel Service.
