Carol Bannock first joined the Kenai Chamber in November 2001 and worked as the Executive Assistant through 2003.  A change in her husband’s job took them to Anchorage for a short time but Kenai is home and they always knew they would be back.  On their return Carol immediately took advantage of the Ambassador program and began to volunteer with the Chamber until the Board hired her to serve as the Executive Director in March of 2010.

A graduate of Cook Inlet Academy in Soldotna, Carol is a third generation Alaskan who, along with her husband Duane, raised their two boys here in Kenai.  From summer picnics at the beach, to helping her boys prepare for a Boy Scout "100° Below" mid-winter camping trip, to enjoying the July 4th festivities as a spectator, participant or planner, Carol has enthusiastically embraced the Kenai life and is eager to serve the members of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce.

Gloria Ungrue, Executive Assistant

Gloria Ungrue joined the Kenai Chamber of Commerce in August 2007. She began as a part-time Office Assistant and has worked her way up to the Executive Assistant position.

Formerly from New Jersey, she has lived in Alaska for over 20 years and enjoys being close to family in Kenai. Outside of the office, she enjoys arts and crafts and spending quality time with her family.

Debra Dougherty, Office Assistant

Debra moved to Alaska in 1976 and has lived in Kenai for nearly 30 years.  She enjoys visiting with tourists and promoting Kenai as the wonderful place it is to live, work and play.

Outside of the office she enjoys personal hobbies such as painting, gardening, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.  One of the biggest adventures she recalls from her time in Alaska is her camping and cross country ski experience in Denali National Park during the month of February at 20 below zero temperatures!
