Notary Services Available at the Kenai Chamber

Need something notarized?
We’ve got you covered.

The Kenai Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center proudly offers in-house notary services as a convenience for our members and the broader community. Whether you're finalizing business contracts, authorizing travel forms, verifying property transactions, or simply signing a permission slip, having access to a notary public makes life—and paperwork—a little easier.

What is a Notary and Why Do You Need One?

A notary public is a state-appointed official who serves as an impartial witness to the signing of important documents. The notary verifies your identity, ensures all parties are signing willingly and knowingly, and applies a notarial seal to make the document legally binding. This process helps prevent fraud and ensures that your documents will be accepted by courts, government agencies, and financial institutions.
Common documents that may require notarization include:
  • Real estate deeds
  • Power of attorney
  • Vehicle title transfers
  • Affidavits
  • Business agreements
  • Parental consent forms

Why It’s a Valuable Service for Our Members

Notary services can be difficult to access quickly, especially in smaller communities like ours. Offering this service in-house and free of charge to our members saves time and money. It’s just one of many ways we help local businesses run more efficiently and professionally.

Having this resource available at the Chamber means you don’t need to hunt down a bank or wait in line elsewhere. It also adds credibility and convenience for businesses who frequently need documents notarized—for clients, vendors, or internal processes.

Member Benefit vs. Nonmember Fee

This service is offered free to all active Chamber members as part of their member benefits package.
For non-members, the cost is $50 per document—and that fee can quickly add up. Many businesses find that joining the Chamber pays for itself with just a few visits.

Have questions or want to schedule a time to stop by? Give us a call at 907-283-1991 or email [email protected].

Let us help make your paperwork easier—because supporting business is what we do best.

  4. Networking Opportunities: Marathons bring together participants, organizers, volunteers, and spectators, creating opportunities for networking and building relationships with potential customers, partners, and other businesses.
  5. Marketing and Promotion: Sponsorship often includes various marketing opportunities such as logo placement on promotional materials, banners, race shirts, and websites. This exposure can generate leads and drive traffic to the business.
  6. Employee Engagement: Supporting local events can boost employee morale and pride in the company. It provides opportunities for staff to participate as volunteers or runners, promoting teamwork and a healthy lifestyle.
  7. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility): Many businesses are increasingly focusing on CSR initiatives. Sponsoring a marathon allows companies to fulfill their social responsibility by supporting health-related causes and community events.
